okay so
after I got home from school I checked and it didn't have any message from toontown about my account username or anything like that
i guess it'll take longer

Just so you know at first I couldn't find the recovery email either. Then I discovered it was just an email that said Guest Services. Doesn't mention Toontown at all.

It's just had an update for me, it's all Halloween themed.

Perhaps it's because since Toontown is going away, they're bringing up one of the sweetest-tasting holidays, or, they're making it dark and any ghosts on it represent the members who quit, or the spirits of the toons after it closes down.

I thought it was because they just didn't bother taking down the halloween decorations from last year because no one really played the game anymore.

If you've played Toontown long enough, you'd know [at the time] that it's not happening. There's plenty of evidence behind "Cog Nation" not being an actual place.
