Read this on the unofficial Blockland Facebook page:

"Badspot has checked all the agreements and submitted forms, now is just making sure the game is ready for Steam distribution. They are also planning on adding Achievements, Trading Cards and Workshop support."

Is this true?

Oh yay, so Blockland is going to get on steam in a matter of time.

Hopefully the trading cards won't be a huge other thing lol. I wonder how workshop will workout.

just because badspot does not want to, it does not mean it's not possible.

Steam, skype, and other services support voice chat, and can do it a hell of a lot better than Blockland would be able to.
