It doesn't matter whether it was or not, assault is a crime.
Cool beans bro, but it still does matter.
You don't even know what an ad hominem fallacy is.
Insulting atributes of the person making the opposing argunment, rather than addressing the argument itself. Which you did by compairing me to conservative (fundimentalist?) christains and calling me handicapped. Also, I fixed the typo, but I guess that makes my argument wrong as well.
The crux of my argument isn't that you have a negative personality trait;
Yes, saying my personality trait has something to do with the argument itself is ad hominem.
it's that you're vastly overblowing something(transgendered people/gender identity) that was never an issue to begin with.
It's not like my life is dedicated to harrassing trans people.
I just made a thread on the internet about it. That's the extent to which I care.
You might as well just start yelling 'stop insulting me!1!'.
>implying traps dont do this
and no, this isn't relevant to the argumentSorry, but once you pull the 'collapse of society' card, you can't just claim you're having a civil disagreement with transgendered people.
Okay, so instead of providing me useless platitudes about the 'bigger picture' and the 'general idea', why don't you outline a coherent sequence of events that starts at 'people care more about what people think they are than what they actually are' and ends in 'society has collapsed'.
It really seems to me a simple concept which would take a while to explain.
But clearly it's not as obvious as I had though, that was wrong of me.
I'm going to edit this post when I get a responce to that.
