What we're discussing here is people who don't have a love change and decide to make people refer to them as a new gender anyway.
This can cause a few problems, first if you're dating someone and are not made aware of this, what happens once you find out?
If you're dating someone who hasn't had a love change, but wants to be referred to as the opposite gender to what they biologically are?
Usually, most people tell others what they want to be known as. If they don't, you don't carry on dating with them, because they are lying to you.
You're just scared of having someone trick you. Which is fair, but unnecessary. That does not happen much at all.
If your relationship manages to go so far with them not telling you about themselves, then you're not in a good relationship at all.
another thing I've wondered is what stops someone from, say, "identifying" as the oppisite gender just to go in their changing rooms and masturbate lol
Because that person would be arrested and prosecuted.
I can't walk into a ladies toilets and just say "It's fine, I identify as a woman".
And I certainly couldn't sit in there whacking off.
People would complain, and they'd get in trouble.
Rules don't just disappear because someone identifies as a different gender.
You're just coming off as childish with these arguments.
