i feel bad about it because theyre supposed to be hated by everyone or something but i really like the new vw beetles

nit picking here, but do you like the infinity g35? Cause that was first made in 2003 or 4.
I'm obligated to like it since it has the same engine and chassis as the 350z which is a previous generation of my car, but I think they're ugly.

The cars I like are usually made after 1990.

There are a few exceptions to my 2005 rule of thumb.

Primarily, the second generation Dodge Viper.

I like all Vipers before '02 and everything '09-'14.

ya imo the new ones look a looot worse

Idk, I still love the SRT Viper.

I like the new beetles as well.

And the new Vipers. forget yeah.

lol, it's pretty much the exact opposite way around, Electro. Old cars are inefficient pieces of stuff, and they have no style in their design at all. I can't stand any cars that are from before 2005.
have to disagree with you there on that part

So today, my grandma's car needed a jump. I got to sit in my aunt's car and keep the engine revving. I must say, I didn't expect the accelerator  to be so sensitive, I practically red-lined it immediately (and then lowered the RPMs).

I think it goes both ways old and new. I feel like mechanically it's pretty much the same in terms of reliability, things will always need to be repaired and will be worn down over time, both old and new. However I'm definitely a man of new styling.

February 14:

Hennessey Venom GT officially passes up the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport at 270.49mph.

Volkswagen let Hennessey into your test track pls
srsly though 270 mph in 2.4 miles is loving quick

have to disagree with you there on that part
I mean, look at muscle car engines from even 30 years ago. They're huge V8s with 6.0L+ displacements that produce less horsepower than my 3.7L v6. Recent advancements in engine design have allowed engines to produce much more power while being much smaller and using less gas. Old cars are objectively inefficient.

I think America's really starting to pull it together in vehicle performance and styling nowadays

Lol for me, efficiency isn't really important. Also, parts for older cars will probably be cheaper to come by from junkyards and online. Recent and current cars are usually not in junkyard status yet and you have to buy straight from a factory.
