I think America's really starting to pull it together in vehicle performance and styling nowadays
yeah I think so too
especially ford, they're improving the most. they have a little bit of an aston martin thing going on on the front of some of their cars (especially the fusion) after 2013 and imo it looks nice

I don't mean MPG efficiency. I mean power derived from each liter of gasoline efficiency. I'd rather have a 6.3L v8 produced in 2014 where it makes 630hp than have a 7L v8 produced in 1967 where it makes 450 horsepower.

I mean, look at muscle car engines from even 30 years ago. They're huge V8s with 6.0L+ displacements that produce less horsepower than my 3.7L v6. Recent advancements in engine design have allowed engines to produce much more power while being much smaller and using less gas. Old cars are objectively inefficient.
i will say that old american engines were horribly made and way behind in technology even into the late 90's
but there are some old cars that have a nice blend of efficiency and power

Lol for me, efficiency isn't really important. Also, parts for older cars will probably be cheaper to come by from junkyards and online. Recent and current cars are usually not in junkyard status yet and you have to buy straight from a factory.
some parts yes
others nope

I like the challenger, but only because it doesn't look like the rest of their cars
also I just like it in general

I don't like that Ford went and Taurusified the new Mustang. Also notice how most Fords all have similar rims on them (I'd post examples if I had my computer)

Edit: I also think Dodge is shaping up better now. Even the Durango is looking good now.

The Challenger is growing on me, but there are still numerous cars in its price range that I'd rather have.

Challengers are mega gross. I don't hate the Charger that much, though.

What they did to the Mustang is the biggest criticism I have towards Ford

also, when looking at pictures of their new rims, which imo look nice, I found something I didn't expect to see

I'm not much of a truck guy but I find these new Atlas trucks to be very attractive and more intimidating than the F150's

this

it's their signature grille style that kills their vehicles, it's sort of a love or hate style

I really don't like the look of those.

challengers haven't changed since they were a concept car in like 2006 lol

Speaking of concepts, does anyone here wish that car companies would actually make their cars look more like concepts?

Aren't they out of production soon though? I heard Dodge is dropping it and introducing a new Cuda.

no concept cars are ugly like 99% of the time
