BTW, my dad is selling his Versa now.  He just had someone look at it today and they might make an offer.  It isn't worth paying for an almost new car when he racks up so many miles on it.  He's only had it for one year, and put 20,000+ miles on it, so he is going to buy something older, cheaper, and reliable.

http://www.autotempest.com/ might be one of the best places you can search for starts.

Doesn't really mean anything, but my dad's first car was a '74 LTD like this.  I don't know the details on why he got rid of it, but he wasn't really smart with that car and it still fed up with him.  Yeah, he accidentally gave it diesel gasoline once.

Older cars can also be easier to repair.  Most parts and their setups are quite primitive and don't have all these special bolts and stuff, meaning with knowledge, you can probably repair them at home.
when it comes to repairing, that won't be a problem, but I'm not going to buy a car with a huge heap of engine or transmission work to do.  When I buy it, I want to to drive away all the way back to my house.  most of the money I sink in it should be in upgrades, not in repairs.

We have a Chevy S10 por around 6 months and it already has 35k KMs. It runs very well. Careful with cheap cars because we used to have an old Senda with 40k KMs and it ALWAYS had a problem on the highway.

It's a classic collector's item...

Yeah we used to have a '91 Dodge Spirit R/T a long time ago.  It wound up on the side of the road several times ranging from a snapped timing belt to bad fuel pumps.  It was the fastest production sedan in either the Americas or the world at the time.  Might just be America.

Bud, you ain't seen dirty until you see my van.  It's covered in salt and dirt and stuff.  I should go out and take a picture right now.

Hahaha my NJROTC unit was hosting a drill meet today so I decided to drive be in my El Camino and get sideways on the road since it was pretty clear. Lots of tire smoke lol.
