I start driving in 2 weeks (get my license and first car) I have been really attracted to nissan 240sxs, (especially silvia s13s and s14 koukis)

this is one i found but it's a project (engine swapped, turbo, lowered, etc) whats everyones opinion on buying other's projects? to be honest i don't like it at all, but this probably what i'd do to it if it were mine. Also, besides the usual, anything i should look for? Im about 100% sure it's been raced/drifted so i don't wanna forget with a piece of stuff that's been abused.

ALSO: my dad started his project car. 1987 porsche 911 targa top. will provide pictures soon.
never trust a project. Especially a turbo project.  Remember, if its something they sunk a lot of money into, theres always a good reason for them to want to get rid of it.

The Nissan [Fairlady] Z is arguably one of the best cars to come from Japan.

I love the VW Golf. Even the 2015 model looks lovey:

good news, everyone

ever since my old vehicle died, i've been looking around at used car lots to find another good truck

so far i'm looking at an 07 chevy silverado 1500 with ~120k miles, toyota tundra with ~100k miles, and a 2003 ford expedition with ~180k miles on it

silverado: $7950 (miles are a bit high, but why not)
tundra: $ 11999 (nahh not paying that much)
expedition: $6950 (too many miles for my taste, and probably has something wrong with it)

i'm not looking into rams, i might try out a gmc, but overall i'm comfortable with chevrolets

any ideas?

So, I went driving in my mom's Yaris today, as I do sometimes, and I got the chance to do some stuff. I had to avoid numerous potholes in the walmart parking lot, so I did some precision turning, and this is a pretty tight turning car. I also went a bit faster than usual, and it's actually really fun to accelerate the car really quickly. When going 45 on the way home, a possum jumped in front of the car. The car managed to stop in just a few feet. Yaris's are surpisingly fun tho.

you can scarcely go wrong with mid to late 90's Toyota Trucks, unless they're really rusty

this is no half bad

Almost all old Alfas look like boats/amphibious vehicles from the front. First thing I ever see on them are the shark-nosed front ends.

So I'm driving a GT-R this week. My buddy who owns the car flew out 2 days ago to Italy to visit his mother then he's going to return to college after. Since he doesn't go to college in California, he leaves the car with my best friend because he's a super responsible dude. However, I nabbed the car and took it on vacation for a week, so that's that. Life's not bad.
