What would you guys think about a Celica for being my first car? It would most likely be a early/mid 2000's one, but I'm still keeping the 90's models in mind if I find one.
- 2000's one (theres a 2004 refresh but eh it looks uglier to me)
- late 90's
- early 90's one
these all being red was a coincidence i swear

early 90s would be the best to go for

if not then the 2000s

early 90s; pop ups (hot), 3s-gte, and actually first car price

i wonder if i should get an integra for a first car, its cheap for a used one (modded or unmodded) and probably reliable since i see a lot of them rolling around where i live

late 90s with awd just like in initial d lol

also integras are great especially if you can find a gsr. super sharp handling and very light cars. they're hondas so the maintenance is dirt cheap. i almost got a gsr myself until i decided i needed rwd

i'm not too into cars but i think stuff from the 20's and 30's is pretty cool

my nibba

does anyone have experience with aftermarket stereos?
the closest i found so far (i basically want a giant touchscreen, no buttons) is the sony xav-ax100 but its a little too fruity for my tastes, and you cant change the color of the buttons to match the rest of the car

Sometimes I actually use my truck to tow.

Have you ever actually been in a Celica? or driven one?
(i can only speak for the 3rd gens)
If you want a celica, but arent willing to drive manual get a different car, the auto is horrible. Also the GTS model would be way more favorable.
If you want to drive a 2 seater that has toddler seats in the back and has a stuffty automatic transmission that is on you.
The manual GTS is not a bad car, but unless you get that exact model id say look for something else.

slightly old pic but she's a strong tower

i dont know anything about cars but what should i get as my first car? i'd really like something with a 90's aesthetic like the toyota mr2 but i'd rather have something more modern with good fuel efficiency

That 1500 lifestyle I would've used my 1500 but that thing can barely go 40 mph let alone go from 5000ft elevation to 8500

Funny how you can tow pretty much anything with a regular driver licence in the USA. If you wanted to tow something as heavy as a car on a trailer in Europe, you'd need a separate licence for that.

yup

you only need a higher class license to drive commercial vans / trucks / semis & busses, and it isn't all too difficult iirc

my dad has a class-a license so he can drive basically anything he wants
