wheee drawing a 17 frame animation that only lasts a little more than a second
do you know how many frames 17 is to me?? i probably have animated entire animations, or at the very least 20~30-second segments with less than 17 unique frames (which means that stuff like just opening/closing a mouth doesn't count as a separate frame)
and it's a loving zooming animation forget I HATE ZOOMS I CAN'T DRAW BIG THINGS ON THIS TINY LITTLE MONITOR
or at all, for that matter
plus I'm pretty bad at keeping proportions consistent when sizes change...
AND I'm really bad at lining up stuff and have to keep redrawing it...
AND I'm bad enough at drawing a circle for a comic and now I have to draw circles that are like 3/4 the size of the animation dimensions...
at least I only have five frames left...
EDIT: I should add that while the dimensions are only 640x390, I prefer drawing at 150% or 200% to be more precise.
I used to draw at 100% (shown in all of my animations except the new years one) and that looked kind of sloppy, so I stopped doing that.
