Author Topic: What blockland version is the totally lego-styled one?  (Read 1516 times)

Hello, which blockland version is the one with the old chat, round studs, and lego playertypes?

v0002, AKA Vanilla Blockland

Actually, is there a working download for v0002?

Yes, but I really don't think Badspot wants people posting links to it.

Why not? Is he ashamed?

it could be diverting attention from the blockland hes trying to sell to the blockland he can explicitly not sell

like he can't really stop it from circulating but he can just not officially sanction anyone playing it

wait what the forget

we're discussing blockland blockland is literally in the title why did this get moved to games

what goes in general discussion then

Is it still possible to set up an RTB 1.045 server?

yeah what why did this get moved
was it moved on accident
is it possible to accidentally move a thread

Is it still possible to set up an RTB 1.045 server?
yeah probably idk why not

might have to connect by IP or use that alternate master server though

The Blockland that we are talking about is technically not the same game as the Retail. The original one lacked vehicles, add-ons (I think), and other stuff.

Its like remakes of a movie, except in this case its a game.

it had vehicles, but they were very unpolished and awful compared to what we have now (considering this version didn't have a real add-on system).

add-ons didn't exist either, "add-ons" were basically really dropping mods in the right place they're supposed to go.

it basically laid the groundwork for what we have now.

v0002 was a prototype. It's an incomplete game and there's really no reason to play it aside from curiosity.
