bushido how do you make those awesome running sprites :(

PurpleMetro, I would suggest adding a little more rotation and sway into the animation - to actually make it look like the character is running and not skiing on a friction-less surface.

Probably the best way to get into game design is to watch trough all Extra Credits videos.

It's easy if you have a mannequin




it makes this really consistent PTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT TTTTT noise when you fire it. appropriate but still silly

i really need to get back into game maker coding, that is way too loving awesome

it controls a lot like blockland/tribes/torque games as a whole actually

right click to jet, left click to shoot at a ridiculous and over-the-top pace, escape to pause

it's more like cave story in practice but the idea is still there
