Let's think about it shell we?

Hmm lets see... I'm not asking for anything Realistic as the airsoft gun, most just want something modeled defaultish-ly, you know, kind of like that assault rifle thing. Yeah yeah that's cool.

Probably let's see here... 2 Barrels maybe? Kinda like the assault rifles barrel, and a shotgun barrel? Hm...
Then another nod...

And then we could have the receiver, maybe 2 again, like you know, a shotgun receiver, and the default gun receiver?
And something else... Ah yes,

1 Scope, (just for looks) [Enable,disable]
Shouldn't be to much datablocks right? Again I'm just saying, simple looking defaultish stuff.

Then Just a plain handle, nothing really to customize.

Then 2 clips and a no clip thing, a drum mag, and assault rifle?

[Cancel out that bullet thing]

How many datablocks would that lead me down too?

PS: I honestly don't want anyone upset about the fact that I have made a request of something that seems "Impossible", I know It seems that way, but there really isn't a need to get your jimmy's rustled over it.

This isn't meant to happen, and any person who does this with datablocks is more of an idiot than you

24 models isn't too bad. larger model sets have happened.

The closest to this happening is mounting a bot to the player's left hand and model every node. Which is still a bad way to do it because you can't spawn the correct weapon as a drop.

yeah, but there's weapon packs with like 80, right?

it's only 24 datablocks, no variation in any of the bullets, so everything is purely a model change

I think that there should be two possible projectiles
It would be the default gun's and the rocket launcher's.
You would simply need to force enable them, and it wouldn't create any new datablocks (just using default ones)

People are assuming it's not going to work. Unfortunately that is the case.

SWAT, give it up. Making this functional will either take a stuffton of datablocks (possibly more than Blockland can even load) or will have so little customization that it's not worth it.

Trust me, I want this too, but it's not possible to do it well.

Well, this is really a gun pack, except all powered into one gun.

The changes are only cosmetic, though.

I think that there should be two possible projectiles

now you're up to 48 possibilities, and yes, you do need new datablocks. none for the projectile (which i didn't even count in my original projections) but you do need guns that use the right projectile and the right model.

yeah, 24 unique models with 48 total gun variations is possible, but no one is going to make it because no one wants to make the same gun 24 loving times

I understand why you think i was being mean, but if someone repeatedly tells you no, asking will only make them more annoyed.
