I would release languages as a separate mod
Why languages of everything else?

Why languages of everything else?
I think it should be its own mod

You have too much extra functionality in this one mod...

pretty much this, I don't want to download it strictly for the wasted space of having languages that I don't use.

Is this seriously a problem?
It's only a few kilobytes of text files you never need to deal with or even see.
Hell, most add-ons are ten times bigger than this.

I might consider it though.

Another reason is that you are making "essential" add-ons, and languages really aren't essential. seeing that this game doesn't support other languages.

it's the fact that you're forcingrequiring me to download a bunch of additional add-ons I don't want in order to get one I might want

You make it sound like it's more effort, or it takes up a ton of space. It doesn't. Seems like a good way to distribute client functionality that servers can take advantage of. Stuff like the player list or blrs requires a base of people that have it in order to be useful.

What if we don't want the other add-ons

My strategy here is to make the mod as unintrusive as possible, most of the features are only visible if you choose to use them, so there's no reason not to want it.

idea: have them all in one add-on but also allow people to download them as separate add-ons

I would, but then who would get the player list, or keybind support, for example?

What if I wanted RTB for chat, but not the tracker that sends all my server information to RTB servers?

Because, you know.

The mod manager, extended server prefs, RTB chat, and server tracker could all be seperate add-ons. This is why DrenDran is packaging them together, it just works better that way.

rtb lets you disable most of what you don't want

rtb lets you disable most of what you don't want
This won't change any guis you don't want changed.
The only exception as far as I know is the eventing window, and I could add an option for that, if it's really important.

Cool, some support.
