you have no idea how tempting it is to comment about how the tip looks like a snake.
The distribution seems weird, any particular reason for why it's so narrow in the front and so bulky in the butt?
I like big butts and I cannot lie
Well the first thing that was constructed was the gun, and the original plan for the ship was a long, cylindrical design that would basically comprise of the main gun and a handful of turrets. What I didn't realize was the absolutely massive amounts of power the gun required, so I had to either make the ship REALLY REALLY long to hold all the power blocks, which would mean the ship would be nearly impossible to steer, or I'd widen it. I decided to widen towards the back to provide extra coverage for the core, and I flattened it out to make the 'battleplatform' part of the ship where I could mount a ton of turrets to take advantage of all the power the ship produces.
Again, what is the thrust and mass of the frigate? You say the changes in movement are spectacularly fast, but show me some numbers
you sound extremely hostile right now lol, but whatever
16183.6 thrust over 6850 mass (71535 blocks)

Here's something neat I cooked up for you guys, it's a size comparison of the three ships we'll be using for this fight:

And here's some pictures I took of myself in recognizable locations of the ships to give you a rough idea of how big they are:

Apex port antimatter cannon.

Fire Lilly docking bay.

Magiliene doomsday cannon.
is there a way to make a ship packed with explosive blocks and a giant blast shield at the front to absorb damage that rams into the enemy ships at super high speeds in a suicidal attack?
Didn't I explain this already?
1. the tnt blocks don't all explode. one block will explode and it will destroy the other tnt blocks without detonating them
2. the explosions are blocked by shields and do no damage to them
3. the explosions arent effective against hardened hull
4. missiles do more damage
5. missiles are more reliable and are highly effective against everything
he stated earlier that the explosive blocks just aren't powerful enough to be logical

I'm not even sure I can run this. Are the specs as low as MC or higher? My stuff-top can't even mine craft without lagging when it's rendering or occasional freezing.
If you can't run Minecraft you can't run Starmade in this capacity. I have a dedicated gaming rig that chugs when things get really hectic.
even 50 blocks or so wouldn't be enough to do serious damage?
also, are the battlestations/platforms whatever super slow or do they have decent speedit tends to be rendering less blocks at a time so yes, but during any large battles; no.
The battleplatforms can accelerate to the maximum 100m/s in about 4 seconds, which isn't bad at all for a ship its size.
