I understand what you're trying to say, but many STIs didn't originate from humans. If we got rid of all STIs we have now, a new one would eventually evolve and infect humans.

yes, though applying the hypothetical would seriously restrict the spread among humans and especially between generations. elimination would be really, really hard. there are always factors that will continue to allow the disease(s) to survive.
