would you guys recommend getting the steam pack of sanic games?
niff and i already have a genesis with sonic 1, 2, and 3, all well need is sonic and knuckles to complete the original set, but i don't know if i should get the steam set instead if getting a classic sonic or knuckles
i would prefer getting sonic and knuckles for the genesis, but i don't know if it would be a wise spending option

If I were you I would get the IOS/Android ports. The current steam ports are just the genesis games as they were on the original cartridge. The IOS/Android versions have countless improvements. In sonic 1 they added new beta items to the debug mode and a seventh chaos emerald(allowing super sonic). In sonic 2 they added Hidden Palace zone from the beta and boss attack mode. In all of them they added compatibility for all three classic characters(except cd it only has tails extra). And the controls and physics are emulated perfectly with Taxman's retro engine. These games are exceptional when compared to other ports of the games.

Well dont get it on steam. If you want to complete your collection either get the ios/android ports or get the rest of the genesis games. It's not worth rebuying games you already have.
