does anyone else get a problem in CS where they get really bad lag "stutters"?
like, ill be walking around find, but then ill stutter and i wont be able to get thru a doorway or a guy will teleport in front of me, or ill turn a corner and nobody will be there and i'll die. my friends spectating me tell me it looks like im lag switching, but obvious im not. my ping seems to stay pretty stable when it's happening too, even lower than average (20~ ping)

what is your framerate doing when you have this problem?

ill usually get 40-100, but it does seem to happen most often with smokes around and with enemies in close proximity. do you think it's a framerate issue?

that happens with a bunch of valve games (most noticeably tf2's menus)

You should try some more comp, then. You should start off at a higher rank if you've been getting a lot of practice in casual. I'd be happy to play with you.

I also played with maxx for the first time yesterday. Everything I've heard is true, he sucks, then complains about everything, and then got a 7-day ban for leaving in the middle of the game.

Also, what do you guys think of people playing music in casual? Whenever I do it, I get at least one person telling others how to mute someone, one person trying to kick me, and one person asking the names and genre of the music i'm playing.

Add me on steam (if you haven't already) and take me into a comp match. I'd be down.

i finally got ranked
somehow i'm gold nova master despite constantly performing on the bottom of my team and rarely getting mvp
then again i usually get matched with mges and mg2s

the ranks you're referring to are this new thing valve added which basically boils down to "xp" and stuff and is basically useless, and has no bearing on the game
the ranks gojira is talking about are matchmaking ranks, which uses valves sort-of proprietary ranking system (like elo with league of legends). it has an effect on who you're matched with when you play competitive. you need to win 10 competitive games to get your matchmaking rank.

Picked up one of these the other day. It's a field tested hyper beast M4 but its float is 0.19, so 81/100 on the quality scale. It's low float so it's more on the scarce side quantity wise, and is on the verge of being minimal wear. Bought it for 55 dollars in keys because minimal wear ones are around 62 dollars, so I made a little profit (quote me if I'm wrong on this).

Oh and I ranked up to nova master after my last win, yay.
