The leveling is annoying, although I do see it as a good way to prevent smurfs.

They try to play it off as a feature rather than an annoyance, the guaranteed drop thing is clearly some half ass idea they threw in to try and avoid complaints that we now have to play loving casual for days just to play the game we love.
