i've been told the comp jews don't like the scar-20

the scar 20 is my best weapon so i bought a stattrak grotto

My auto sniper runs on tears

The Auto is my backup weapon for when we need to scrub-out to win some rounds.

the auto is what brings me to #1 on my team (possibly #1 in the match) after half of the round is over

The auto is extremely easy to counter, even when a pistol. But maybe that's because I'm in a higher rank where people actually know how to use guns.
If they miss their first shot, the seconds it takes to shoot again is way too long, even for an automatic sniper.

If they miss their first shot
ok but what if they don't

what rank are you?

Is there a way to disable the "dink" noises that you get when you shoot someone in the head? They are really bugging me

nope. you'll get used to it, i'd hope. else you might not wind up playing much longer

you probably could replace the sound file, but i imagine that would trip some anti-cheat measures to stop you from changing footstep sounds to be more distinct/loud

Competitive servers enforce purity; mods are disabled and modified VPKs will get you automatically kicked.

It's important to hear dinks for information so you can tell teammates that they are on low HP (when using the M4 anyways)
