how the forget do i improve at this game because i'm straight up terrible at it (i play on casual servers so that's even more proof i suck)
it really depends what you're struggling with!

use these practice maps:
nade training https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=477197888
spray pattern training https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=419404847
reflex training https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=213240871
aim training https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=353366249
viewmodel gen https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=365126929
crosshair gen https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=308490450

but csgo is like driving, you can take as many practice runs as you'd like but you only REALLY start learning in the field. ;)
get some practise and hours in competitive with these practises in the back of your head

also, watch Warowl on youtube, there is no shame in it, many people start out with his tips. they are still accurate

whoa, that's a LOT of stuff
thanks for that!

think i might learn bhopping too, but i feel like it's unnecessary when playing the actual game unless you're on something where you need to go fast (see also: de_[mapname]/bomb offense/defense maps)

if you want to practice movement, join one of my favorite KREEDZ (KZ) server hosters: House Of Climb!
http://steamcommunity.com/groups/houseofclimb

The servers are newbie friendly, contain surf and KZ, and are almost always busy with people.
If you can't find them in the legacy browser, just go to your console and type connect "ip" (without the quotation marks of course!)

Search WarOwl on youtube he has good informative videos.

i'm currently unranked because every loving game I play i get the highest kd ratio and basically carry my team but we end up losing 7-15 for some bullstuff

i only won two competative games out of the 25 that ive played thus far

i'd say wait on the bhopping until you've got the basics

holy balls

competitive lobbies are easier than casual lobbies. Is it because im good or because people don't try to look cool for noobs as much with AKs or AWPs

Because people who join casual servers can be ANY rank. You could be a silver one in the same lobby as a global elite. Skill difference is there and less balance. That's why it can be a super easy casual game, or a super difficult one.

also everyone in deathmatch has a goddamn awp

people don't take kindly to getting their asses glacked by a mag 7 in DM.

My richard is hard.

I'ma shoot you with this tie-dye fruit-by-the-foot

I played with Ethan Klein from h3h3productions.
He said I was a monster and he added me.
