From an outside prespective it looks so childish to start something like this, its a game not life this will never effect you in life and you can sit behind a computer and bash someone all day.
Just because it's a game does not mean it's not allowed for you to feel an emotion because of it.
Technically, it isn't even a game, it is a site for communicating with other people, giving you (in most people's eyes) a much better reason to feel aggravated.
But really do you think that if you could do any talking off line you could back yourself up? No
Most people have no desire to settle this in any sort of fight. It's preferable to avoid violence over such a trivial matter. So yes, they could probably do the talking offline without a need to "back themselves up".
Offline, they probably wouldn't be talking because they would have never met. And if they did, it's likely Sord would not be upset towards TB2 because, you know, Sord wouldn't be able to hear everything TB2 says, unlike here where you can see everyone's posts.
