i don't call every single computer that
Yeah anyone with any sort of common sense knew that. Ignore rest.

it actually can
I'm going to chime in here and say something. The eye can't tell a difference past 30 FPS. Nothing about 30+ FPS looks smoother, it just feels smoother. Aiming is much more responsive at 60+ FPS than 30. That's why most people record/stream at 30 FPS. Unless you're playing, you can't tell a difference.

Also PS I pulled the number 30 out of my ass, I don't know the actual rate but I'm pretty sure it's between 20 and 30.

I honestly can't see much of a difference when there's like 150 FPS to like 60
nor can I.
Maybe because neither of you have a monitor higher than 60Hz. HURRRERRRR.

Ah. That would do it. I do believe my monitor is 60Hz.

lol you loving serious? there is an ENORMOUS difference between 30 and 60. you seen the first hobbit movie? how it was much smoother than the second? it was played at 48 fps instead of 24 fps. 60 and 120 might not be much of a difference but 30 and 60 is a giant difference

^^^
i saw a 120hz monitor once. it was great

20 FPS is nearly completely unplayable.  30 is my minimum.

Is it really that much BS? I dunno maybe I'm just used to low frame rates from DayZ.

I can see an extremely clear difference between 30 (or even 60) and 120+ FPS. It's not just a "feeling".

the point of a 120hz is that it can divide the frames for a 24fps film or a 30/60fps video on the same screen, regardless what is being played.
not needing different types of monitors to cover all media types cut down on artifacts for running the wrong stuff. (no remainder frames)

its not implying you are/can even see 120 frames per second, even if your comp is rendering it.
because you cant

I only have a 60hz :(

you may not be able to render a 24fps movie file without it looking goofy. but thats it. a 60hz monitor is all anyone will ever need to be a gamer at max quality.

So what do I need to make videos for YouTube?

So what do I need to make videos for YouTube?

only to record and view things in 30 frames per second. that you should be able to do.
if you are recording for youtube, you SHOULDNT record higher then 30fps. (cap your recording program settings to 30) because its so unnecessary and unnoticeable to be any higher when watching videos lol

Ok thanks for the information.
