Almost drowned in my violin teacher's pool
Almost choked on a cheese ball

I actually don't remember ever dying -

oh I was stuck in a riptide once

Pretty sure choking has a 99.5% survival rate

heart attacks are also very survivable, doesn't mean they're not near-death

I almost choked to death at a Fuddruckers restaurant when I was a kid. I also happened to have a seizure during that. (I have epilepsy)
The people around me thought I was doing a dance, then my mother saved me.

Totally off topic, but I love Fuddrucker's.

I imagine you don't.

Probably just once.

One time when I was younger, I crashed my bike really bad, lots of blood. Luckily a woman was outside by her house when it happened and drove me back to my parent's house.
Back then I rode my bike almost all the time, since then not so much.

Almost drowned in a pool when I was 5.
Almost fell off the side of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon two years ago, coincidentally while reading a book about people who have fallen off the rim.
Was almost hit by a Mini Cooper in East Paris.
Have almost been hit by New York City Taxis on six separate occasions.
Almost fell off a train platform at Metro Center in Washington, D.C.
Almost hit by a bus near Arlington National Cemetery.

I am really loving accident prone.

You need to stay away from edges of things.

I'm a really cautious person. Few to no intentional risks is norm.
