I'm just saying if I bought a PSVita, I wouldn't want to have to re-purchase all of my PS1/PS2 games just so I could have them on the go.

If you have a PS3 you put the PS1 disc into your PS3 and then play it on your vita via remote play. So no you don't have to re-buy it.

Or you could just re-buy them digitally.

The point of it is for when you are on the go or don't feel like sitting in front of a TV or if someone takes over your TV and then you are stuck in your room bored doing nothing because someone took over the TV to watch barney.

Hey the option is there, you don't have to buy a PS3 or PS4 just to play it on your vita. Keep your PS1 or PS2 if you prefer.
