Author Topic: Is it worth it to buy a 3DS?  (Read 7353 times)

I plan on buying an XL and WiiU within the next few years since they have the only exclusives I enjoy. If there is ever a new Metroid and isn't a story abomination like Other M, I'll buy it right away

What can I do with my Wii? I never used it and I had it on mercadolibre.com for 4 months for $750 (About $75 USD) but no one wants it.

Keep it and mod it.

What can be added to mod it?

You can do all sorts of things to modify a Wii.

Just do a quick google search of "Wii Mods" and you should get some good results and tutorials.

3DS XL. I love the thing.

Over the years, the only consoles I've ever bought for myself have been Nintendo. Gameboy, DS, Gamecube, Wii, and 3DS. Worth it.

Gameboy Color, Nintendo DS Lite, Wii (Only used it once or twice), DSi and I used the 3DS once. Pretty good if you ask me.

If you only used them once then how do you know if they are good?

Because I had an epic experience with it. The 3D on it is epic. But you can't see stuff if you're not staring straight at the screen.

So we are going to base the 3Ds based on a one time use. Then you tell us the 3D does not work if you are not staring straight into the screen. So that means you cannot lay down on your side and you cannot move around at all. If you're laying down you have to sit up straight.

Fun.

Lay down and put the 3DS in the same position you are so you can directly see the screen. Or just remove the 3D.

I'm pretty sure I am going to get one, but I still have one question. Is the XL version the exact same thing as the regular, just bigger?
