What was the blood test for? When testing all they do is swab your throat and do a throat culture to diagnose it. At least from what I've seen.

Last time (and the only time) I had it was when I was over ten years ago, but I had a throat culture done last fall iirc. Don't get an angry nurse like I did, though. Very painful.

Weird, the last time I got strep throat they also did a blood test on me :I
I had to get a shot on my ass and I almost passed out.
I couldn't see anything, I only saw white. I thought I was gonna die lol. Sucked so bad.
The shot really did the trick though, I got better like 2 days later.

That was like 2 years ago though. I haven't had strep throat for a while.
