Author Topic: Possible upcoming new feature (hats) - Confirmed by Badspot  (Read 15051 times)

Port has referenced this a little bit in the latest dev topic, but I think this is worth its own thread.

That image is from Rotondo's computer. The directory at the top reads "E:\Development\Blockland\trunk\art\maya\Models\testHat_Tiny_export.mb"

"Trying to get hats for the blockland update... like OBJ hats... and the server will tell you what hats you have, so... the idea is that, people could trade hats on steam, and you would like be able to like get a blockland hat as a drop randomly and be able to trade it on steam as a steam item, so you can trade blockland hats for items in other games and stuff"

The chance of Torque supporting jigglephysics is about the same as neo-national socialist Communists taking over Australia and firing nuclear bombs at the ISS.

Edit: If jigglebones are added I will make a Comnational socialist VS Aussie TDM. With nukes.

Aw yeah!
i hope that they are customizable too

I hope we would be able to make our own hats, pretty much by the same system as in TF2 - submit it to the workshop, if it's great and voted for it will be added in the update and the creator gets a copy of it

Or it could just work as a normal workshop thing as Badspot said he'd have to work on where people can upload their add-ons
