I've decided to get back into this game and play hardcore ironman of all things.
Started last night and have a total level of 177 so far, and a combat of 18.
I plan to be balanced but siding more on melee.
Too bad I will likely never get good at range on non-mems since Jagex is stupid and fletching is members only.
Can't even make a bow since bowstrings require members to make.
If you want to add me, my hardcore account is Xyrosa, and my regular is lionheart1.

So far Hardcore is pretty easy, took 2 hours to get melee to a minimum of 15.

I can't remember if I asked or not, but does the forums have a clan, or one that everyone joined or not.

It's been over two years since I noticed "Hey, I only have one requirement left for Lunar Diplomacy". Just finished the quest last night.

Lunar magic is cool, except that it's useless unless you have at least level 96 magic :c

Same thing happened to me, so I just trained the forget out of magic in a couple of days and got from about 60 to 90.

I wish there was a mode of ironman for a group of people
like a clan based ironman, so trading is only allowed in the group
would make it more fun to have people specialize in roles and what not

That'd be cool but what if someone made bots for the other parts of the group?
It'd be too easily abused to get resources the person might need.
It could take just about all the challenge out of the mode.

if you can have bots on a dummy account, you can have bots in solo as well
I'm not saying it would be ironman, it should be a separate mode for ironmen
there's a lot more potential for a community having fun that way, instead of isolating everybody

this christmas event is great, took me around 20 minutes

God damn they want you to pay for membership so badly.
So I was doing some smithing, then I get a random lucky challenge.
Shortbows, and the bowstrings requires members to get.
I decided I might as well do the other challenges in my list, normal logs and imp urns.
Both very easy and done within ten~ mins.
Both rewards, I get two magic logs and a blue dragonhide.
It's not like I can even sell them at the general store, they don't even show up.
The game is fun and all but unless if I want to fletch some bows or something I don't need to get members until I get my other stats up first.
Though, the most annoying thing has to be once I reached level ten in mining or something it kept telling me that I should get members for that "totally cool" dwarven miner axe.

when rs2 was first out. there was a ladder bug in the lumbride castle where you could end up outside the walls on the second floor. allowing you to go anywhere in the game just floating on second level.
i still have 6 accounts there. me and the guys spammed some to leave up there so we can troll with em.

to this day i can go anywhere safely and see everything and basically be "flying" lol so long as i dont teleport them out.
