yeah

sure
As a part of the narrative, no.

in gameplay, yes.

I think we can all agree on one thing though: motorbikes and ramps are fun. https://youtube.com/watch?v=thpdG2Yk1dE

No, It's not like sonic '06

Its like if Bethesda told everyone that Skyrim was the most perfect flawless bugless thing ever with absolutely no crashes or game breaking bugs.
I doubt Ubisoft ever said that Watch Dogs was the most perfect flawless bugless thing ever with absolutley no crashes on game breaking bugs.

Ever.

I don't think you've seen the trailers and other hype tricks.

i also happened to get this game for free alongside a graphics card i bought, so at least i don't have to send any money to Ubisoft for this whether i like it or not.

Wait, am I the only one who doesn't get trains that instantly stop when I drive in front of them?
They always end up ramming me out of the way. And if I park on the tracks with enough distance from the train, it comes to a slow stop.

It even prevents me from raising/lowering a bridge if a train is too close at a high enough speed. Again, if the bridge is raised with enough distance, the train will slowly stop.

video now, abstath

or like, an update came out.

wait no, nevermind
they only ram me out of the way if i nab the corner or speed right infront of them.

and to add to that, it insta-killed me when i touched the front of it while it was moving slower than walking speed.

honestly i dont get why people still dont understand this in 2014...

developers will always, always, always, overhype their game to every extent they can to make their game look good. it's business, businesses will always try to get the most money out of a product as possible.

by starting off with a great idea like watch dogs, using enhanced graphics to its advantage, Ubisoft made it so the game looked like the turning point of all games to come: beautiful, innovative, and exhilirating. obviously they overhyped by using these traits to its advantage.

and then you guys, the target audience, fell for it like always, getting mesmerized by the beautiful presentation, rather than the core gameplay mechanics and looking closely when the game releases... people need to be more educated and realize that game companies will always make their game look 10x better by using audience interests to their advantage

Except they could've made the game functional before they loving shipped it out. This is worse than loving New Vegas.

The reason stuff like this happens is because people like you embrace it and don't demand anything better. If the neighbors handicapped kid keeps pushing didlos up your ass, being silent about it is only going to make the carrots bigger and bigger on a week to week basis.

I hate the AI in this game

So I'm fighting a gangster team and some handicapped civilian calls the cops, and when they arrive they proceed to loving attack ME for some god forsaken reason.

I assassinate some poker wieners with a silenced pistol in an empty underground bar because I lost a bunch of money and I'm mad. I make sure nobody can see me before I shoot them and some asshead civilian above ground on the other side of the building from the above ground exit proceeds to call the police, and it's loving beyond me how it heard/saw/smelled me shoot those guys.

tl:dr
Cops are handicapped and civilians use wallhacks

i love how citizens call the police because they see me holding a gun even though i'm holding out to stop a damn criminal from killing somebody

that is the worst brown townogy ive ever heard in my life

im not saying that game devlopers should do this or its alright by any means, im saying that its annoying that people complain about how the game is overhyped didnt have this didnt have that bugs blah blah. your fault for falling for marketing, stop complaining about it

research the game, think about it before buying a game, reviews help too. thats why i never preorder, i want to see the game in its real public release version rather than the fancy pampered up developer previews and stuff. be smart about your buying decisions.

1. having carrots be pushed up your ass forcefully and you don't wanna say anything about it

2. buying a game that was lied about by developers

wtf

your fault for falling for marketing, stop complaining about it
Are you loving kidding me?

Do you go to the war veteran amputee ward and blame them for stepping onto landmines?

Here's a little side note: I in fact did not buy this game
