yes because buyers easily have the resources to truly see if the game is bad or not, if you decide to preorder the game 3 months before release like some, it's your fault for buying into the hype.
at first i can see the reason developers should take blame, but come on, this tactic has been used so many times it should not be an issue for people to fall for it.
Yes you can. GTA V literally got better as hype went on. Watch Dogs was the opposite.
