Well some of them are seedless, which forces farmers to be dependant annually on the seed companies.

Actually, they're not. The whole idea of a 1-generation seed that goes sterile after planting was actually proposed and thrown out by Monsanto. The only reason people still like to pretend it was a thing is because it's great ammunition against big agriculture companies. The only problem is that it never happened.

Lets make a thread discuss Steve's creepy obsession and terrible taste in Anime.

i swear to god science

I'd like it a lot if we can actually talk abou anti-science.

I haven't looked into it much but I know a big theory of the mass deaths of bees could be partially to blame on GMOs.
There's other stuff too but like, we need those bees so we should try to make them die as little as possible probably.

there's a chemical reaction happening there

So far there's no data showing that GMOs cause colony collapse disorder. There was a meta-brown townysis of 25 independent studies testing whether Bt Cry Proteins(The pesticide proteins expressed by a common GMO variety) affect honeybee survival, and it showed that there was no effect on the survival of honeybees, adult or larvae(Duan JJ et al, 2008)

sun is emitting because of the fusion reaction occurring in the sun

no it's because the sun is really a gigantic fireball summoned by the four sages who live on 14 branchland court

There is a difference between breeding two different types of corn through pollination and trying to use jelly fish DNA to make a bigger and redder tomato.

They use to say DDT, cigarettes, and cocaine were safe. Look how that turned out.
artificial selection is more dangerous then artificial mutation, not only is it less percise but it's never been tested either
