That must suck fat richard lol.

It's stuff, like super stuff.
I always end up nearly rubbing my eyes out the back of my head they are so itchy.

never heard of hay fever
must be a northern people thing

Enjoy your day off.

Or at least try to.

Is hay fever some sort of southern way of saying allergies to pollen?

Cause if so, that's pretty damn awesome.

As a southerner,  Dahell Is hay fever

i'm actually pretty thankful for my hay fever
it's pretty much a "get out of school free card" with some minor annoyances

My eyes essentially explode out of their sockets while I have hayfever.

I usually get it bad from May to mid-July.

Everyone gets it at different times, since most two sufferers aren't allergic to the same pollen. You can be allergic to the pollen of any number of plants that start to be pollinated in this area.
For me, I believe it's grass pollen, since I get it bad near cut grass. That might not be true though, since grass is usually cut when it's warm and dry, which might be responsible for any number of other plants to start pollinating.

I'm on Cetirizine at the moment, which seems to be doing alright, but I've had to change to different antihistamines in the past before.

I'm surprised so many people haven't heard of hayfever, I figured it was a universal term.
Apparently I'm allergic to "certain grass mixtures" and around spring I feel like death. Eternally itching eyeballs is a pain in the ass I'll tell ya, not to mention sneezing like 20 times a minute.
I'm also surprised you guys are able to get out of school for it too, I don't really get that.

same!

EDIT: It's a lot better today suddenly lol.

I've been sent home from school because of it before, where it's been so bad that I'm essentially blind from puffy leaky eyes, and I can't stop sneezing.

But I've never had it as a reason to not go to school.

i usually only get really watery eyes and sneeze a bunch and have my nose itch too when I have it

I get really itchy. That's my only symptom, and a little sneezing. The anti-hay fever tablets do the job though.
