he didn't give us exactly what you wanted. theres no need for more than one flat stage. we need stages like pokemon stadium or battlefield or yoshi's story with walled ledges and different platform placements
believe it or not where the platforms are really helps some characters, esp. low tiers

i'm not berating him for not giving us what we want, since there are lots of tourney-usable stages in smash 4
it's just that he misunderstood what competitive players were looking for and made 30 flat stages when only one is needed (maybe two if you want them to vary in size or something)
it was a pointless undertaking

some omega stages (mushroomy kingdom for example) have a different flat stage setup (instead of a floating platform it's a platform coming out of the ground) but it's doesn't really matter anyway
also some stages with ridiculous hazards (gamer, warioware) could also benefit from omega mode

also the final destination song playing on every battle on a flat stagewould get boring

i may be misinformed then. do any of the omega stages have platforms? also some hazard/gimmick stages are still legal (like pokemon stadium has transformations, yoshi's story has randall the cloud) so gamer is def a possibility

So far i've only made three
I'm pretty sure it's limitless
Also a neat little feat: All the clothing, badges and hats you earn can be put on every mii without needing to get a duplicate
And all mii-moves are unlocked from the start
