there's not really much of a difference, classic controller normally works with the wii u controller games
smash even supports classic controller pro

why can't some third party developer make a gamecube controller that functions as a classic controller, instead of having a full on adapater
you'd still have benefits like playing other games with a gamecube controller

third party controllers have always sucked
