you know with the gamecube adapter working with the wii u games and the wii mode
why couldn't there just be gamecube game support like what the forget

I seriously don't understand why everybody wants Mewtwo to return so badly.

Just because a character is terrible and probably shouldn't exist doesn't mean people can't like it. I main Pichu in Melee, and I'd definitely like to see him back in Smash 4, although it's clear that isn't happening

do the games even have official names by the way
is it just "Super Smash Brothers: Wii U" and "Super Smash Brothers: 3DS"

it's just ssb wii u and ssb 3ds

both are the final titles

why did they even do this? just "super smash bros U" or "super smash bros wii U" and "super smash bros 3DS" would have been fine and much better

it's like calling your game "super mario for 3DS land"

You do know that Pichu damages himself right? and is basically a weaker pikachu

doesn't stop him from being the best 11/10 melee character

i really wished they would come up with a name for it. ssb4 would have at least been decent.

when my friends and I were in 2nd grade when Brawl came out, we all guessed what they were gonna name the next smash game. I bet them all money that it was gonna be Super Smash Bros. Combat.. forget

there is NES and N64 games on the wii u for virtual console though.

but actually I already own a normal wii to play gamecube games. I just wish I could've sold that original wii after buying a wii u

Because it's not native support.
How would you like to insert a gamecube game and it would be all like: "You need to spend $40 for this adapter!"

im saying "why couldn't", they just should've put the gamecube stuff into the wii u, like with what they did with the original wii.

Seeing the pacman trailer again, I can only hope for sinistar to be in Smash 4 as a assist trophy

I'm p sure emulated Gamecube is something they're working on. Also adding the necessary hardware to play Gamecube games would take up extra space in the Wii U and make it for expensive. Gamecube is too old to justify this decision
