i can understand that 3DS can't handle 8 players on 1 screen, but they could probably have done event matches, right?

the 3ds can only do so much without crashing and smash 4 basically pushes the 3ds to it's limit (which is why it uses 16k blocks in the eshop)

and even though smash 3ds doesn't have as many modes as the wii u version, think about it. it's loving portable smash you can play anywhere. isn't that all you really wanted?

I absolutely love how they are taking full advantage of the Wii U power to deliver some amazing features, 8-player smash looks so cool holy stuff I need to buy the console so bad, it's also 1080p oh boy.
