Headcrabs. Those forgeters are resilient.
They don't die easily, unlike the flood they don't require multiple spores to infect. They just do one leap and BAM, victim is forgeted. There are multiple types of headcrabs as well, the fast ones would wreck those slow sons bitches.

Except that not every lifeform is affected by headcrabs... they're made to infect humans afaik. 3 shots with a pistol and they're dead, and as we all know the flood can wield any type of gun.

They just do one leap and BAM, victim is forgeted.
Holy stuff you are delusional. A headcrab would not even be able to mount the head of most tyranids, xenomorphs, or zerg, and flood infected lifeforms do not control the nervous system from the head. Combine this with their complete and utter lack of durability (even basic nids are more durable than headcrab zombies) and you have a race that is completely and totally unable to compete with the others.

Headcrabs. Those forgeters are resilient.

A headcrab is incapable of taking a single .357 round to the face. Let's compare this to weaponry found in the respective universes of everything else on that list:
An M6G from Halo chambers 12.7x40mm (.50 cal) HE rounds, meaning headcrabs will die if that gun so much as farts in their general direction.
Assuming an Autogun has a 7.62 caliber, an a cyclic rate of fire of 625 rounds per minute, that would easily put it significantly past the amount of firepower a .357 revolver would put out, so 40K wins out there too.
Speaking of 40K: A lasgun is capable of penetrating up to a meter of concrete and is one of the most common weapons in the galaxy.
The C-14 assault rifle from Starcraft, the standard Terran armament, chambers 8mm hypersonic bolts. This weapon is capable of a fire-rate of 1,800 rounds per minute, and can penetrate up to two inches of solid steel.
The M41A pulse rifle is chambered in 10x24mm caseless and possesses a fire rate of 900 rounds per minute.
Literally all of these weapons could grab a headcrab by the claws and faceforget it so hard it would be incapable of swallowing without a tube and you call it "resilient"?

half-life wiki bro

They one of their home planets known as char invaded twice and they lost both times. Put a bullet in them, they die

Tyranids?
No match for unkillable necrons and bsetest rase evur: orkeses. Put dah slugga in them and dey die

Flood?
Useless against nano shields, put a bullet in them and they die

headcrabs?
Can be killed before they cause any harm, put a bullet in them and they die

To everyone that replied to me in large paragraphs:
I cannot read large paragraphs that are clustered due to reasons. If you want a reply than please put it in a lined format.

I'm told that's what happens to most living organisms when they have bullets forcefully inserted into them, yes.

basically all of them said that headcrabs are weak and useless unless you are unarmed or caught unaware

Oh, okay. Thanks
