Author Topic: Need help getting rid of stupid adware on Chrome  (Read 2062 times)

did you intentionally ignore my post cos you realize I just won?

good job sir, you are defending and illegal action.
First of all, you're very misinformed about what you're talking about. And stop trying to get me banned. I'm short on tolerance of this kind of bullcrap legalism you're trying to pull. Secondly, this is a thread about getting rid of these viruses on my computer. Quit trying to change the subject. Take your "arguments" and your "I just won" crap to drama, because i'm not going to play your little game.

try looking at the options for all of the extensions installed in chrome

some extensions bundle adware in then, and it's usually signified as an option like "enable superfish" or something that's unrelated to the extension

I feel like this is another case of "ur all rong and im rite."

Welp, sorry your thread got derailed, Planr.

you could try searching your computer for files related to this thing that you're stuck with and deleting them manually.

what OS do you use?

I got rid of all my extentions, but NetCrawl is still here and slowing down my browsing speed in combination with NetNanny's frequent popups.

what OS do you use?
windows 7

hmm... I guess you guys point out some good stuff. I have just send a text to my Police Explorer Advisor Officer Stephens asking him about this. Will tell you what he says.

also I apologize for derailing your topic. I didnt realize one small suggestion would cause such a problem, gg

Don't. Make your own thread for that.

Thank you, I forgive you. Your suggestion wasn't the problem though, it was that you kept arguing about the definition of piracy.

So anyone else have any ideas of what I can do? Also the favorites stuff isnt linked to my gmail account because my dad uses his own email account too that's tied into our country club's email system.

what, last time I checked it was a good thing to ask questions.

OT; what email service does your dad have?

Those bible reading programs you download are mostly viruses, Planr.

I'm sorry, but this thread was already won when this guy posted.

i would do that if knew what to look for and where to look for it

i already checked my chrome folder and every file is mostly just named a random assemblage of numbers and letters.

Wannabe-troll I'm guessing? On topic:

OP is a biblecigarette and  Islamophobe.

Topic: Iraq is imploding.

Welcome to Islam.

People often make this counterargument, but what they fail to realize is that the Bible condemns this type of active violence, while the Quran would promote it as military Jihad for the furtherence of Allah's kingdom.

I'll guess your next move would be to counterargue that in the old testament, God commanded the Israelites to kill and destroy other nations, but then again, I will say you fail to realize that the command was for a specific group at a specific time- and only that time. The laws that permitted these kinds of behaviors were gone away with when Christ came.
Actually the Quran promotes and commands the use of military Jihad by muslims today against infidels (non-believers).

WTF is ice warp? Damnit if he had gmail then you could just uninstall and reinstall chrome and all his bookmarks and stuff would be fine. Have you tried explaining to him what your mom has done to the computer?
