I just hope you're ok if we end up using other ideas, Alphadian is the brains when it comes to gameplay here and I really should explain some of the stuff going on :V

It's all right, that's why they're called concepts. I will also certainly keep it up, from now on all art and I'll leave it up to you guys how they will work.

I feel this a nice change as this character is more casual looking but still goes with the theme.


Even though the mod looks cool, this is looking way too similar to the Team Fortress series. Mostly TFC.

Rifleman
uses some sort of an assault rifle and runs faster than other classes, perhaps captures points twice as fast?

The Heavy uses a handheld chain-gun, is slow, has alot of health, and is used mostly for defending

Firebug uses a flamethrower and chucks molotovs at people, mostly for chipping away at health and making people run away. Could use some ideas here too.
The Pyro uses a flamethrower and throws flame bombs at people (TFC)

Sharpshooter
uses a bolt action rifle, only class that can headshot and doing so will instant kill, scoping also slows him down and firing from the hip is weaker.
The Sniper uses a slow-firing rifle and is the only class that can headshot (Some exceptions in TF2; None in TFC)

Mechanic uses a shotgun or pistol and a wrench Builds stuff like mounted guns and sentries for defense and can place some blocks down for building bunkers and junk. Maybe he could disable landmines I guess. He's essentially gonna be like a fortwars sort of guy and building will cost something.
The Engineer uses a shotgun and a pistol, with a wrench, builds robot sentry turrets for defence and can place down dispensers for cover and a source of ammo. Building costs something: metal. Sadly, this is the most original class so far.

If you don't like the mod's ideas, then who cares, not everything is perfect and copying also. How about you try to come up with something, something which is 100% ORIGINAL and UNIQUE.

I personally like the art-style of the models, sure they can be nasty to some, but that is the beauty of originality.

Uses a heavy arm cannon that can only be refilled by having an ammo source near him be it player or object.
The Mechanoid can jump high distances and clear gaps with his hydraulic jump pads.
Can Deploy a bubble shield that covers him/allies.

His roosterpit is exposed so positioning is key, the mech itself is junky and breaks down easily causing it to stutter and sometimes misfire.

Team Fortress classes are very nicely balanced, so doing classes based on TF to make it balanced isn't really a bad thing.

I have a pistol suggestion.

I may use it, it's almost like a little baby rifle and theres someone I might use it for.

Is it the lack of a stock and the recoil?

I could add that to the weapon for balance issues.

Also I'll still add a pistol of some kind later, but a short rifle is pretty neato as a primary, just not sure how to do fit it with the game right now.
