from what i saw, he pretended gender roles are fine how they are, that womens issues don't exist anymore, that every feminist tries to force people who believe in equal rights to identify as feminists, that women choosing to pick lower paying jobs and staying away from STEM isn't an issue, that social phenomena affecting women isn't a result of society's values but instead that all women choose to act in certain ways because of their biology.

and you're saying he's not a strawman. that's the problem with these types of videos. if he's debating himself he can just create fallacious and easy to pick apart arguments in an attempt to invalidate an entire belief system. his videos are just a forum for neckbeards uncomfortable with social change to circlejerk about how feminists want to take their waifus

I think Kimon means that he believes that the "clever satire," the guy used accurately portrayed feminists rather than a strawman of radical beliefs. Which is obviously the intention.

extreme feminists arent just limited to tumblr, they have a terrifying amount of power in the real world too. like not in a matriarchy sense but in a they have made a man kill himself after shutting down his shelter for abused men. which im pretty sure was the only one.

Not that I disagree with you, but he did just use a real life example. I get Kimon's point, but even if there are transmisogynist feminists or men-hating feninists who contradict the meaning of feminism, I'm still sticking to my beliefs. I would like an article, however.

better base my ideas about feminism on 1000 anti-feminist videos on youtube and people on tumblr. why not study up on the positions of modern feminism? the reason feminism may have a bad reputation in your eyes could be because you haven't seen both sides.
