But it's different because it's random and uncontrollable. It's literally every image posted on imgur by everyone. Tumblr blogs are controlled by (generally) one person with the intent to share. By allowing this, I could just say "Oh here's my blog full of NSFW stuff but there's SFW stuff in here too!!"

well that's a random image though, and its given with a warning that you may or may not find research

a tumblr page has content decided by the person running the blog and if it contains research is should certainly be bannable/have the link removed
