i agree with you, mental sanity should take high priority, but when it's as easy as making friends who are willing to stick a little #Self Delete tag on their tumblr posts, this stuff can be avoided

But what's the point in going on the internet if you're going to seclude yourself to those few safe spaces? You said that I have no idea how important the internet is, if it's so important then what's the point in using it if you can't use the whole thing because you're too worried about being triggered? In reference to your city crime brown townogy; what's the point in going to another city if you're going to stick in the city centre where the most people are because you're too worried about being mugged? All you get in the centre is fast food chains and over-priced tourist traps, all the interesting stuff it further out in the less "safe" areas of the city.

And then what if your safe space gets raided as it inevitably will? Then you've potentially lost your mental sanity/killed yourself and for what? To bitch about your problems to people who bitch about their problems to you and cry about how nobody takes them or their problems seriously? If I suffered from such a problem I'd much rather not use the internet than encounter such a life threatening problem

i'd rather be on a website where people can instantly share inspiring, interesting, funny, or otherwise thought-provoking content, and make friends who are willing to stick a little tag on potentially harmful posts, than not use the entire internet at all
