I can like never actually start a conversation with someone unless like I have something to show them or they message me first, and usually if its the latter I kinda unintentionally brush them off a bit. : (

At least for me, I usually only feel so when going into new communities or meeting new people.

Once I get to know someone my anxiety ceases to cause hesitation.
