Wow, I did realize that There was a good Turrican remake out there, thanks for that :)


Now to post a game, since I haven't been active in this thread for a while.

The game I am posting is called "Toblo" and is actually very fun.

Toblo is a free, fast-paced capture the flag game that has two teams using the world as weaponry, throwing bombs, and generally destroying things. During the course of a Toblo capture the flag match, the structures in the wild and wacky world full of colorful blocks are reduced to block rubble.

Note: This game has GREAT physics.




Some sounds of this game can get annoying, but don't let that discourage you, just turn off your sound if need be.

Abuse is a 2d side-scrolling platform shooter originally developed by Crack dot Com and published by Origin Systems right before their merger with Electronic Arts. It was released in 1996 for DOS and Linux, and the source code and shareware assets were released to the public domain two years later. Since then, I have ported it to run under Win32/DirectX, and others have released SDL ports allowing it to run on a wide variety of modern operating systems.

Halo Zero:


This is a fantastic game. Great gameplay, graphics and sound. The controls are fluid. It's pretty addicting and with several difficulty levels, the action almost never ends! It even sports drivable vehicles, online support and spartan customization all in 2-D  .

Knytt: A platformer with unique atmosphere and style.  Very little danger, relies mainly on exploration.  Very cool.
