The othe guy who I was Versing was just some random person.
I wanna verse you, you seem fun to write a song about.  It should be against, kids.

Whut? Are you commenting on the fact I said versing? As oppose to what? vsing? That's just stupid.
It's "against" not versing, it is not right, it makes no sense.  How do you get versing out of versus?  Verse is a line in a song, versing would be writing that, right?

OE-Cake
A very fun game showcasing the Octave Engine. You play with different materials in a physics-enabled enviroment.

Take the weapons from the Quake and Unreal Series (the shotguns, the grenade-launchers, the laser-cannons), throw in swords, over-sized wooden mallets, and grapple-hooks for good measure and give the whole arsenal to a tiny, round, and colorful race of giggling cuteness that one might come across if say… Tribbles got into a large stash of food. Now force these creatures to fight each other in battles ranging from death matches to rounds of capture-the-flag.

Well, actually, don’t do that – it’s already been done, and turned into an surprisingly polished and addictive experience.

Officially, Teeworlds (originally titled “Teewars“) is a 2d multiplayer-only platform shooter available on Windows, Mac, and Linux, and with its gunning and grappling cuteness it recalls memories of games like Soldat, Liero, and the cute-but-brutal landscapes of the Worms Series. Although it’s only in version 0.4.2, Teeworlds has already shown amazing progress and is perfectly playable right now.

The controls of Teeworlds are standard controls for and big-title FPS (WASD for movement, number keys for weapons, click to fire, etc) and fit the gameplay very well. Of course, the player can remap any of these keys if need be. The customization doesn’t stop there though; each player can customize the shape and color of their individual character or even make their own maps via the map maker. Another aspect of the controls I really thought was innovative for a game of this type was the emoticon system: just push leftShift, and a circular menu will appear with several choices. Simply move the mouse over the emoticon you want to appear over your character, and release shift. Simple as that.

TeeWorlds : Between the facts that you cannot have a ping lower than 200 in any server, the COMPLETE LACK OF SENSICAL PROJECTILE PHYSICS, the nerfed-beyond-belief shotgun, and everyone else having a magical internet connection that runs on faries allowing them to have a ping of 50, you cannot actually play the game well unless you feel like wasting a few hours getting used to 0.2 seconds of delay and bad physics(actually a total lack, but whatever).

Also the completely handicapped katana weapon that makes the wielder faster(harder to hit) and gives them a dashing attack(even harder to hit and hard to dodge) that does 100% damage or something close to it.

Love it, and I only do instagib. Reason most people have a low ping is because people from Germany and Poland etc are the usual hosters.

Yeah I assumed it was a European game and that that was why my ping was stuck at 180-210.

I'm probably going to play it some more and post a longer review on their forums.

....PROJECTILE PHYSICS....bad physics....
Who said it has/you need Projectile physics?

It helps a great deal with aiming/etc when the game recognizes the existence of some basic laws of physics.

In real life/99% of shooters, if you are falling down and you fire a gun directly horizintal, the bullet moves DIAGONALLY.  From what I see, the projectiles in this game do not inherit any velocity from the player, resulting in anyone with any instincts about how things move not being able to aim until the accept that this game decided for no good reason to throw inherited velocity out the window.

Seriously, it's not that hard to grab the X/Y velocity of the player and add those onto the bullet.

Your goal is to catch, ensnare, or otherwise trap the little golden flying things. Not that you have to. I prefer to let the things go personally. The plants grow towards the sun and if you hold down the mouse button, the plant grows faster. Enjoy.

(I love this art style, the game plays so smoothly too)

Jimmy's Lost His Toilet Paper

Quote from: Tig Source
Jimmy’s Lost His Toilet Paper, and you’ve got to go find it! This is a new 7-day game from Petri “forget Yeah!” Purho. In each level you’ve got to roll up the loose toilet paper and head toward the exit, a task which is made much more difficult by platforms, crates, and other obstacles. The concept is not only incredibly cute, but it works great in practice, and creates some interesting (and challenging) physical puzzles. I’d love to see Petri polish it up a bit more (à la Crayon Physics)... for one thing, it could definitely benefit from some kind of save feature/level select screen.

mmy lives a simple life. All he’s got is a roll of toilet paper. Until the faithful day that his TP rolled away. You play as Jimmy on his epic adventure to get back all that belongs to him and find love and meaning to his life on the way.

Control Jimmy with [ARROW KEYS]. Press [DOWN] (or [SHIFT]) to hold on to the toilet paper and drag it with you. You have to collect all of the toilet paper in the level to get to the next one.

[SPACE] restarts the level.
