RIP Pilot Parker

no wonder wtf are they doing hiring stuffed animals as pilots

Air travel is probably safer than walking down a sidewalk in a big city
Tell that to the people on MH17
oh wait you cant
THEYRE DEAD

If you live in the US I can practically guarantee you will not be shot down by a ground-to-air missile in a passenger plane in your life ever.
Even most of the world. Only really, the middle East, Africa, and I guess now Russia/Ukraine are the unsafe places to fly through, and even then for the most part you're okay.

..you are handicapped

If this gets confirmed I am feeling like Ukraine will become apart of Russia.
lol what the forget are you talking about? It was shot down over EAST Ukraine, where the pro-russian separatists are. Probably using SAM's russia provided for them...or whatever they stole from Ukraine.

You're autistic as stuff.

Wow, way to be jerks. Considering this is all you could reply with instead of something more intelligent, it's nice to know you've both further validated my fear of flying.

"You're Autistic"
"I'm now more scared to fly."

10/10

Yeah um, you're missing what i'm trying to say. Clearly you've resorted to petty middle-school insults because you've nothing better to say in terms of intelligent arguments regarding my fear of flying.
"well guys, i've ran out of smart statistics, time to resort to the old autism rockets!"

The odds of you dying in a flight are severely small. Airplanes are made extremely safe. The odds of running into any issues during a flight are very slim to none. Just don't take any flights into hostile areas and you'll be fine. Start with flights just in the US

yes well
Even most of the world. Only really, the middle East, Africa, and I guess now Russia/Ukraine are the unsafe places to fly through, and even then for the most part you're okay.
not to mention that the event of a SAM attack is unlikely, and basing a fear off of that is as stupid as I've ever seen
oh my god lmao
planes are like the safest things ever

Thank you. That might just be helpful in case I need to fly someday. Some rationalization for overcoming my fear helps.
Although, I would first probably want to take a crash-course in using parachutes first.

Learn from superslayer, Glass and Mus. He's being nice.

yes well
Yes and I already sorted out those.

Yeah why am i not surprised something like this happened.

I guess the Cold War is about to get reheated.

you've both further validated my fear of flying.

You're more likely to die in a car accident, die in your bed, die in your bathtub, be struck by lightning or be struck by a bus then you are to get in a plane crash. Basically going to the Airport is more dangerous than being on a plane

Commerical Airplanes dont have Parachutes

learning to use parachutes isn't even necessary if you're on a commercial flight inside the US. You wont be shot down, and airplanes are built with so many safety details, hardware failure or anything like that is about as common to be hit by lightning. Especially the boeing 777, it's been said you have to be an idiot to crash that plane. You'll be fine flying, I could promise that.
