That doesn't make it any less bad, in fact it just makes other SMGs look even better by comparison.
Blaster with the extended barrel, fof, full-auto, extended mag, and stock can rack up 40 damage, and while the accuracy while doing so is rather poor it has more reserve ammo than the kobus while also having a higher pickup rate that allows you to make up for missed shots easier. The Uzi with the fof, foregrip, and stock can pick up 40 damage WITH good accuracy and fire rate.
And the Patchett. Dear god, the Patchett with long barrel, comp-comp, and solid stock can get 45 damage, 18 accuracy, and 22 stability, which basically makes it an assault rifle for your secondary slot. Ammo reserve is a bit low but the slower rate of fire ensures less wasted shots and you have fully loaded aced and play aggressively anyway so it doesn't matter (ツ)

alright fair point - i don't have the historical pack but i'll forget with the uzi.  i really should screw with my loadout more lol

i usually pack a grenade launcher and a smg.  my entire strategy to bulldozers consists entirely of exploding their stuff, then running up close and full-autoing their faces in while they're stunned.

Though hideously impractical in almost every other situation (apart from breaking through a swarm), it's so much fun to use the minigun and just melt their face off. MG42 is pretty fun as well, less effective but i can use it against other things without wasting so much ammo. Of course my go-to teammate almost always has an M79 on him recently so he usually just strips them down with one or two grenades and I can finish it off with just about anything.

all the side jobs keep giving me silencers and sights
