Author Topic: Cringeworthy religion  (Read 1357 times)

If this starts a religion argument i will immediately lock the post.

So i was browsing through the internet, bored. I decide to look at game reviews. I find a minecraft review, go to it, and after some more searching and clicking i find a site called christian gaming zone: minecraft. I felt like having a laugh so i clicked it, and so many times i was able to facepalm speechlessly. Anyway, share the most embarassing or cringeworthy religious things you have seen in your times.

Here is the site: http://objectiveministries.org/zounds/review-minecraft.html
And here's another site i found that apparently says to be appropriate for children yet is only directly brainwashing them into believing in incorrect things, and saying that atheists are dangerous and should be handled with "extreme caution" (here's the site) http://objectiveministries.org/kidz/

Also, i am not hating on religion or its followers- well, i'm hating on the ones in the links i post, but not everyone who is that religion. If you take offense to this i suggest you leave.

I remember this
it was hilarious

Jesus doesn't exist.

God isn't real.

I understand that they're Christians, but if the game isn't truly supposed to be based on a biblical manner, why bother?

little pantz was never seen again

Isn't this website satire?

It's a satire site, like landoverbaptist, so don't take any of this seriously.

Objective: Ministries: One of the best known parody ministries (perhaps along with Landover Baptist), this still confuses people even many years after it was launched.

The quote is from this page.

Still, there are clues to the Christian purpose of the game. The most obvious is the name: Minecraft Alpha. This is of course a reference to Jesus' revelation that He is the Alpha and the Omega
