Theodore Flint passes away at the ripe old age of nobody actually knows and is cremated, his ashes thrown into the wind. The new Chairman of the Council sends a message to the leader of Atensia indicating that the drop in cultural exchanges is likely because many Avalonians feel that the culture of Aspidis is less honorable than, and therefore inferior to, Avalonia's. The Chairman does not indicate any course of action that Aspidis Atensia should take to rectify this, although the letter does mention that the major grievance of Avalonians is the ability of even the least honorable citizen to partake in the voting process.
The Council drafts a letter to the leader of Ormica. "Our two nations have seen days of peace and prosperity. Let us forge a closer bond by forming marriage arrangements between our two peoples. Let it be that when one nation raises the sword, the other shall follow in the other's footsteps."
